Our approach

A global transformation with local challenges

At the end of 2016, Ingenico's Technology & Platforms entity launched a major transformation programme in a multicultural environment with teams based in France and abroad (Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Tunisia etc.).

One of Ingenico's main challenges is to reconcile the group's global vision with the local needs of the various entities.

The aim of this transformation is to rationalise (pool) the solutions and products offered, develop a global range of products and services and drive investment and projects through business value.

Ingenico called on Aneo to support its agile transformation.

Tailor-made agile support

One of the challenges of this transformation is to take advantage of the agile approach (time-to-market, adaptability, business and IT interaction, quality of human relations, etc.) between now and 2020.

Our team's support began in January 2017 and is based around several objectives:

Deploying agility through training, coaching, kick-offs and support for a dozen teams using the Scrum Framewor
Provide organisational support to management to underpin the transformation
Scale up using inspirational models such as SAFe and Spotify.

Two entities have been identified:

The first began its agile transformation in December 2016 with a ‘Big bang’ approach that involves transitioning all teams very quickly to agility.
The other is gradually rolling out agility.

250 people trained using the Spoti-SAFe model

Our team of coaches has provided agility coaching and training to 12 teams (squads) totalling 250 people.

The team developed personalised approaches for each entity to support them according to their stage of maturity.

The first entity will have benefited from specific coaching for Product Owners, Scrum Masters and development teams to help them prioritise the backlog, write User Stories, etc. The coaching will also have been focused on the development of new products. The support will also have focused on identifying Scrum Masters in each team and improving the effectiveness of the systems.

Support for the second entity was initially focused on training all staff (managers and operational staff). The coaching provided enabled 7 operational teams, 3 cross-functional teams, 2 management teams and 1 incremental department to be coached and supported.

At the end of June 2017, it was decided to train and support new entities.
